The Affordable Child Care Benefit Program is run by the Provincial Government and it’s designed to assist families with daycare costs. It will replace Child Care Subsidy as of September 2018. The new benefit is available to families with incomes up to $111,000/year. This program might not pay the entire childcare fee, therefor the families are expected to pay the balance.
$ 50.00 per day with 3 hours minimum required - space permitted
Parents agree that all monthly fees will be paid before the first of each month in advance.
Fees are based on booked days, not attendance, therefore parents are responsible for fees whether child attends or not.
(This includes sick days, statutory holidays and vacation time)
The Fee Reduction Initiative is a reduction given by the current government and at any time could be withdrawn with 30 days or less notice. Any fees not covered by the Fee Reduction Initiative and Affordable Child Care Benefit are the parents/guardians responsibility and are payable before the first of each month, in advance. Daycare fees are set out and contracted between Child Care Provider and the Parents/Guardians of the children in care. The fees are the responsibility of the Parents/Guardians at all times.
Drop-in fees are payable per occurrence. Unpaid fees are subject to immediate suspension or termination of care unless reasonable arrangements are made and accepted by both parties.
